GREAT LAKES NAVAL TRAINING CENTER
Ameresco developed a series of energy-efficiency upgrades and energy supply improvements for Great Lakes Naval Training Center, the largest training facility used by the U.S. Navy. Improvements were made to more than 160 buildings, including the installation of an 11 MW cogeneration system with heat-recovery boilers and 4 MW backup diesel generators. These improvements deliver guaranteed energy savings and provide secure, off-grid power for critical systems.
