Energy storage facility expected to have large impact on local electricity consumers

Newmarket’s new battery energy storage facility is now online and it is expected to have a large impact on local electricity consumers.

The Newmarket Era was invited to take a tour of the new facility located just south of Davis Drive off of Harry Walker Parkway, accompanied by Ameresco president Bob McCullough, project manager Wayne Heeg and distributed generation vice-president Jim Fonger, to find out exactly how the Tesla technology will benefit consumers in the community.
