Ken Gross
Senior Vice President, Safety, Quality and Risk Management
Ken Gross is Senior Vice President, Safety, Quality and Risk Management of Ameresco, a leading energy efficiency and renewable energy company. He is responsible for Ameresco’s regulatory compliance, quality control and risk management programs both domestically and internationally with primary responsibility for leading global compliance and risk reduction functions company-wide. Mr. Gross is the committee chair of Ameresco’s Global Safety Ambassadors program, developing and leading the program with his team located across the company.
Mr. Gross has more than 20 years of regulatory compliance and risk management experience. Prior to joining Ameresco in 2007, he worked for Blaine Construction Corporation for 6 years in various heavy commercial construction compliance positions to include the construction of the U.S. Department of Energy $1.4B Spallation Neutron Source Facility and the $500M Highly Enriched Uranium Materials Storage Facility. Mr. Gross served two-terms as the Chairman of the State of Tennessee Occupational Safety & Health Review Commission under Governor Sundquist, and is currently serving his second term as the East Tennessee Representative on the Commission under Governor Haslam. Mr. Gross has been instrumental in the development, communication and audit of key corporate policies and procedures ensuring State and Federal regulatory compliance and risk reduction methodologies.
Mr. Gross earned his B.S. in Occupational Safety & Health Engineering from Columbia Southern University.
