Summary
Ameresco partnered with the City of Cleveland, TX to install an Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. The project, expected to generate an estimated $2.5 million in positive cash flow over 15 years, involved replacing outdated meters, integrating AMI components, and setting up a customer portal. The new system enhances billing accuracy, reduces manual meter reading, and lowers operational costs, providing significant savings and improved service for the city’s residents.
“By partnering with Ameresco, they were able to quickly determine an accurate scope of work, provide a firm, fixed turn-key price, and then efficiently execute all aspects of the construction and data integration required to successfully implement this project for the City.”

- Real-time data, providing greater transparency to citizens
- Reduced loss and unaccounted-for water
