Ameresco installed multiple system upgrades and a state-of-the-art lighting control and monitoring system to alleviate temperature control problems and enhance lighting in Paul Brown Stadium in Hamilton County, OH, home of the Cincinnati Bengals. The infrastructure upgrades improved the overall experience for fans and athletes while providing a more comfortable environment for utilization of the stadium for non-game events.

This budget-neutral project provided significant cost savings from energy efficient upgrades to help improve stadium and field conditions. The newly installed LED field lighting system will provide the stadium with high quality, consistent lighting levels, while the heating system measures will help maintain temperature control in the club areas.

Through an Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC), Ameresco installed energy efficient equipment and multiple HVAC control system upgrades to the East and West club areas. The upgrades included replacing over 20,000 existing light fixtures and the installation of LED tech sports field lights and a new, state-of-the-art DMX lighting control and monitoring system to improve lighting conditions while reducing energy costs.
