Since 2012, Energy Vision has coordinated and hosted 16 day-long workshops with regional affiliates of the U.S. Dept. of Energy’s Clean Cities Program, public and private sector partners and leading gas utilities. Each workshop has explored local and regional opportunities to produce and utilize renewable natural gas (RNG) made from organic waste.
Workshops explore the production and use of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) made from organic waste feedstocks, with a particular focus on agricultural, municipal and food processing wastes.
Energy Vision, in collaboration with government, industry, academic, and NGO partners, will host a day-long workshop on the production and use of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) – aka biomethane – in Minnesota.
Attendees — including government, regulators, NGO’s, municipalities, developers, trade associations, utilities, and fleet owners/operators — will come away with an understanding of RNG and its potential as an energy and fuel resource in relation to Minnesota’s climate, clean air, waste management, and economic development goals.
