Ameresco’s B. N. Tripathi appointed to Energy Services Coalition Board of Directors

Framingham, MA – The Energy Services Coalition members elected 17 Board members during the elections that concluded on October 15th. B. N. Tripathi, Vice President of Ameresco, was appointed to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Tripathi has 29 years of experience in the engineering & construction industry with the last 17 years focused on performance contracting and energy infrastructure outsourcing in the healthcare, educational and government market sectors. Prior to joining Ameresco, Mr. Tripathi was President of Sempra Energy Solutions International (SESI) – an ESCO that he established in the UK with subsidiaries in Spain and Germany. Earlier he helped establish and grow CES/Way International eventually becoming President and CEO in 1998.

The ESC is a national nonprofit organization composed of a network of experts from a wide range of organizations working together at the state and local level to increase energy efficiency and building upgrades through energy savings performance contracting. ESC’s new Board will develop a strategic plan at a planned retreat on November 17-18 to implement a variety of services for members, while maintaining its focus on performance contracting through the public/private partnership of state energy offices and ESCOs.
