A deep energy retrofit at the IRS New Carrollton Financial Service Center delivered a 60% reduction in energy use with $3 million in savings during the first year of operation. ECMs covered under the public-private ESPC included LED light fixtures, occupancy sensors, solar thermal heating and solar canopies.
