Dallas partnered with Ameresco to develop a biogas energy recovery facility at the city’s wastewater treatment plant. The city will save at least $1.5 million in energy costs annually and reduce carbon emissions equivalent to 3,500 vehicles annually by using energy from biogas that was previously flared.
