Case Study: City of Lowell, MA seeks Aging Infrastructure Improvements through Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Project
Overview
Like many municipalities, the City of Lowell experienced ongoing budget constraints and increasing operational costs at a time when infrastructure upgrades were also needed. To address these challenges, City leadership decided to take action through an energy efficiency and renewable energy project. This budget-neutral solution, in partnership with Ameresco, ultimately allowed the City to address their infrastructure improvement needs and create resiliency in their systems without upfront capital investment.
