Ameresco Names Marcus Fister as Senior Director of Energy Supply Management Group

Fister brings extensive supply chain and risk management experience to Ameresco

FRAMINGHAM, MA and LOUISVILLE, KY – March 20, 2013 – Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE:AMRC), a leading energy efficiency and renewable energy company, today announced that Marcus Fister has joined the company as Senior Director of Energy Supply Management. He will focus on increasing market penetration in the commercial, industrial and retail business segments for Ameresco’s supply-side management services.

“We are excited to have Marcus join our team as we continue to expand our supply-side business,” said Bruce McLeish, Vice President, Ameresco.  “His range of experience in project management, financial analysis, renewable energy and planning and strategic development will be a tremendous asset to our company and expand our services for current and future customers.”

Mr. Fister brings over 15 years of experience to Ameresco having served as Director, National Energy, UFPC/Managing Director Global Energy, Yum! Brands, Inc., where he managed more than 1,500 owner operators’ annual domestic energy expense, totaling more than $800 million across 22,000 domestic locations. His responsibilities also included risk management and procurement, as well as establishing carbon reporting standards for Yum! Brands, Inc.

Mr. Fister earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Accountancy from the University of Louisville, attended Brandeis School of Law, and received his M.B.A. from Indiana University.
