Ameresco Names Bruce McLeish Vice President of Energy Supply and Risk Management

Company taps 25-year veteran of energy industry to oversee energy supply, risk management, and energy information and data management services 

FRAMINGHAM, MA – November 5, 2010 — Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE:AMRC), a leading energy efficiency, renewable energy and data management company, announced today that Bruce McLeish has joined as the Vice President of Energy Supply and Risk Management.  In his new role, McLeish will oversee the energy supply and information management businesses for Ameresco, including the company’s SAS 70 Tier II-certified AMERESCO AXIS® products and services.

McLeish brings more than 25 years of professional energy industry experience focused on wholesale and retail energy commodities as well as the sale of renewable attributes.  Most recently, he held the position of Executive Vice President, Power Marketing for Fibrowatt in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and was responsible for the development of biomass-fueled power plants including the sale of energy, capacity and renewable attributes.  Prior to Fibrowatt, he held senior management positions with Constellation NewEnergy with responsibility for origination, products and pricing, deal structuring, and portfolio management; he also managed a team of 70 professionals and was responsible for commercial and industrial products. McLeish’s career also includes tenure at Northeast Utilities.
