Ameresco, Inc. Completes Purchase of the Assets of Metro Washington, DC-based JVP Engineers, P.C.

Purchase adds even greater depth of engineering capabilities to develop advanced energy efficiency and energy security solutions to Ameresco’s cutting-edge technical team

FRAMINGHAM, MA and WASHINGTON, DC – May 14, 2018 – Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE:AMRC), a leading energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy infrastructure company, today announced it has completed the purchase of the assets of JVP Engineers, P.C., and the company is now part of Ameresco’s Federal Solutions business based in Washington, DC.

JVP Engineers, P.C. has served the capital region for more than 25 years. Located in Friendship Heights, Washington, DC, the company has provided high-quality, cost-effective, innovative MEP and Fire Protection engineering designs to a wide variety of clients including federal and local governments, health facilities, education complexes, and office buildings.

JVP Engineers, P.C. is in the process of being fully integrated into Ameresco’s Federal Solutions business. JVP’s 13 employees are joining Ameresco’s current workforce of more than 1,000.  J. Vicente Pedraza is joining Ameresco as Principal Engineer and Vincent J. Pedraza as Senior Director, Design Build Business Development.

Terms of the acquisition agreement were not disclosed.
