ISO 45001
Ameresco’s Safety Management System has been certified in select regions to the ISO 45001:2018 standard. “ISO 45001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It provides a framework for organizations to manage risks and improve OH&S performance. Ameresco’s AssetPlanner® Platform has been certified to the ISO 27001:2022 standard. “ISO 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet and provides companies of any size and from all sectors of activity with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an ISMS. Safe Employer under Supporting Ontario’s Safe Employers (SOSE) Program
Ameresco Canada has been recognized as an employer who successfully implemented an accredited Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and met other criteria set by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO). “Supporting Ontario’s Safe Employers (SOSE) is a voluntary Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development program run by the CPO. National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) Accredited Energy Service Provider
Ameresco is accredited by NAESCO as an Energy Service Provider (ESP).
“In earning accreditation, an ESCO has been determined to possess the following: the technical and managerial competence to develop comprehensive energy efficiency projects, defined to include lighting measures; efficient motors and drives; and measures involving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; the technical and managerial competence to provide a full range of energy services, defined to include conducting energy audits; providing or arranging for project financing; design engineering; providing operations and maintenance services; and verifying energy savings according to accepted industry practice; the regular business practice of developing performance-based projects, defined to mean projects for which the developer’s compensation is contingent upon the projects realizing verified cost savings; and The technical and managerial competence to provide energy supply through the development and implementation of build/own/operate distributed generation, cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) projects or the firm contracting energy supply.” (Source: NAESCO.org)

“ISO 50001:2018 is an international standard that provides a framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an Energy Management System (EnMS). Its goal is to help organizations improve their energy performance, including energy efficiency, use, and consumption, through a systematic approach.
The standard is applicable to organizations of all types and sizes, regardless of their geographical, cultural, or social conditions. Gender Equality Certification System
Ameresco is accredited by The Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan for Gender Equality Certification System.
“The UNI/PdR 125:2022 defines the guidelines on the management system for gender equality which provides for the structuring and adoption of a set of performance indicators (KPIs) inherent to gender equality policies on organizations. The practice provides for the measurements, reporting and evaluation of gender data in organizations with the aim of bridging existing gaps as well as incorporating the new gender equality paradigm into the DNA of organizations and producing sustainable and lasting change over time.
