Worcester Business Journal – Ameresco secures $58M Maine Navy contract

Framingham energy firm Ameresco has secured a $58-million U.S. Navy contract to implement an energy resiliency project at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

The project features on-site generation, battery storage, and microgrid controls to maximize energy security at the shipyard while reducing energy costs.
