Hartford Courant – Bloomfield School installs new solar array as part of state energy sharing program

Bloomfield Public Schools is expanding its sustainable energy footprint.

After installing almost 3,000 solar panels on the roof of Carmen Arace School two years ago, an additional 8,000 panels were installed on eight acres of unusable wetlands behind the district’s central office building, on Blue Hills Avenue.
