Ameresco recognized for sustainability efforts and growth at 2023 Best in Biz Awards by winning Large Company of the Year award

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.  – December 20, 2023 – Ameresco, Inc., (NYSE: AMRC), a leading cleantech integrator specializing in energy efficiency and renewable energy, today announced it has won the Company of the Year Award (Large – 1000 and more employees) gold award at the 2023 Best in Biz Awards. The Best in Biz Awards is an independent awards program that celebrates the achievements of executives, employees, teams, company performance, products and services. Winners are determined by independent judging panels from publications including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.

Ameresco has won the Company of the Year gold award for the company’s sustainability efforts over the last two years. Throughout 2022 alone, Ameresco’s renewable energy assets and customer projects delivered a carbon offset equivalent to approximately 14.7 million metric tons of CO2. Ameresco was recognized in their nomination for completing energy savings and environmentally friendly projects with federal, state and local governments, healthcare and educational institutions, housing authorities and commercial and industrial customers.
