Worcester Business Journal – Ameresco Signs $13M New Bedford Energy Savings Deal

Ameresco Inc., an energy efficiency and renewable energy company in Framingham, and the New Bedford Housing Authority on the south coast have inked a $12.7-million energy performance contract.

The deal is expected to provide $19.6 million in energy and water cost savings over its 16-year term, the two organizations said on Thursday.

The project involves 15 of the agency’s housing developments with nearly 1,500 households
