Alaska News Source – Juneau set to break ground on $240 million hydropower project this year
JUNEAU, Alaska (KTUU) – The city and borough of Juneau is about to get an influx of renewable power that will provide new electricity within the next three years.
The $240 million hydropower project consists of a partnership between the City and Borough of Juneau, the company Ameresco, and the newly formed utility company Juneau Hydropower Inc.
