This program will examine common procurement and contracting aspects that have led to successful municipal partnerships in energy and netted communities millions of dollars in local tax and other economic benefits while helping industry and communities meet their clean energy goals. First-in-the-nation wind\, solar and battery storage programs will be highlighted in our “case-studies” approach. Brownfields redevelopment\, use of surplus municipal property and coastal communities’ opportunity ride the wave of “offshore” wind will also be featured.
