Ameresco provides these systems through 20-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) at a Guaranteed Maximum Price per kWh that is usually less than purchasing electricity directly from the grid. Ameresco makes this possible by leveraging its considerable energy project development experience to design cost-effective solutions tailored to each customer’s individual needs and by taking advantage of federal, state, and utility incentives to subside the systems’ overall costs.

We manage these power generating assets designed to supply building loads, which we reduce via energy conservation measures, via local micro-grid control systems that integrate with backup power sources, battery storage, and the local utility grid, optimizing system performance, maximizing energy cost savings, and enhancing the reliability of the electric supply.
