Biography
Mr. Wallis is Vice President, Strategic Development for Ameresco. He is responsible for the development and acquisition of energy infrastructure and power projects and the acquisition of companies. Prior to this role, Mr. Wallis was the President of Wallis Energy Corporation and worked with highly regarded energy service companies, utilities, and banks nationwide to implement supply and demand side energy solutions.
For over 30 years, Mr. Wallis has had a long and distinguished career in the development of renewable energy projects in solar, wind, wood to energy, hydroelectric and landfill gas to energy power generation. At the Rhode Island Energy Office, Mr. Wallis was the manager of the Wind and Solar Programs, and provided expert testimony to the Public Utility Commission on behalf of the Rhode Island Division of Public Utilities.
Mr. Wallis earned a B.A. degree from Brown University in 1980 and a M.B.A. from Harvard University.
