Biography

Mr. Dello Iacono is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Ameresco.  He provides general corporate counsel to senior management, remote offices and subsidiaries and affiliates of Ameresco. He also serves as Ameresco’s assistant corporate secretary.  Mr. Dello Iacono drafts, reviews, oversees and negotiates the professional services, teaming, energy services, implementation and purchasing contracts, software licenses, financing and confidentiality agreements for the company, and has particular expertise in risk management and complex structured transaction issues.

Mr. Dello Iacono has extensive legal knowledge of and experience with mergers and acquisitions, contract law and construction-related matters, regulatory proceedings, information technology and intellectual property law, licensure requirements, business and tax filings, human resource law, and real and personal property transactions.  

Prior to joining Ameresco, Mr. Dello Iacono was General Counsel for DukeSolutions, Inc. He was also General Counsel and Contracts Manager for Energy Investment. Throughout his career, he has worked at several energy services firms, including a northwestern utility affiliate that specialized in performance contracting and demand-side management, and a New England based energy services firm that provided manpower for energy audits and weatherization services across the United States.

Mr. Dello Iacono earned a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor's degree at St. Anselm College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
