Mr. DaSilva is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ameresco Canada. He brings to the organization 14 years of experience in the energy services industry. Since joining the company, Mr. DaSilva has played a leading role in the development and implementation of contract, finance, and administration systems that are at the core of Ameresco’s business. These processes include legal documentation, health and safety, and integration of appropriate construction lien legislation. He also develops and implements risk management strategies that minimize project exposure during contractual and construction phases of a project.
In addition to his experience at Ameresco Canada Inc., Tony has over 10 years of experience in financial services for major organizations such as Midland Walwyn and Merrill Lynch. At Merrill Lynch he served as Assistant Vice-President, Equity and Bond Operations, with daily custody responsibility of $3 billion in security assets.
Mr. DaSilva completed executive programs at the Sloan School of Business at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the American Management Association. He holds certificates from the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Toronto Construction Association, and is actively enrolled the Business Management program at Ryerson University.
