Description:
Managing and maintaining a sustainable portfolio of buildings is becoming more challenging each year. As buildings continue to age, the need for capital investment to manage deferred maintenance and operations is growing at an escalating rate. Two key steps will be explored in this session that (1) help capture total cost of ownership of the buildings and (2) help to uncover strategies that can be used to "create capital" to close the funding gap and create a sustainable funding environment. Tools and processes will be established to help with daily management and annual budgeting of capital needs. This session is geared to E.D.s and staff.
